Manga Planet is proud to announce we are hosting the HYPER Anison Party at the HYPER JAPAN Festival 2018 in London. Taketeru Sunamori, light novelist and composer, will be the featured guest and will DJ from July 13 to 15, 2018 in the DNP area. On July 15 at 12:00 pm, Lady Beard will join Sunamori for a special anison extravaganza for anime fans! Be sure to check HYPER JAPAN’s official website to find out how you can attend.

Taketeru Sunamori, the “Double-Jobbing Creator”

One of the first generations of “Net-Creators” in Japan, Sunamori produced his first audio movie novel on Niconico Douga as an indie creator in 2009. He debuted as a writer and composer in 2013 with the release of Kakusei Love Survivor as an album under the FLYING DOG label and as a light novel published by KADOKAWA DENGEKI. Most recently, Sunamori composed music for Square Enix’s RPG game Grimms Notes and toured with the official concerts for Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

Sunamori launched his DJ career in 2017 and performed in Japan, China, and Singapore. Excited to attend Hyper Japan, Sunamori record this message for anime fans in the UK.

What is the HYPER JAPAN Festival?

HYPER JAPAN is the biggest Japanese culture and food show in the UK. This year, it will take place at Olympia London from July 13 to July 15, 2018. An event that blends the traditional with pop, attendees can participate in a variety of activities ranging from in workshops J-Culture workshops to dancing to anison music with fellow fans.
