At this year’s Anime Expo (AX) from July 4 to 8, Shueisha, Inc., and DNP America, LLC in cooperation with SCRAP, CORP. is bringing the ONE PIECE PUZZLE HUNT to America for the first time. The puzzle hunt, also titled Another Romance Dawn after the first chapter of ONE PIECE, attracted over 10,000 fans over the course of two days.

What is the ONE PIECE PUZZLE HUNT?

The ONE PIECE PUZZLE HUNT is a large scale escape game based on Eiichiro Oda’s popular Shonen Jump manga series. A major attraction at AX 2018, this game transforms an entire hall into an Seagall Island where fans will have a chance to immerse themselves in an adventure to help Luffy and the other Straw Hat Pirates off the island by solving riddles. SCRAP, CORP., famed for creating REAL ESCAPE GAMES, produced the puzzles for this event, and fans with a smart phone can play the game with an AR smartphone app. (Of course, fans without a smartphone can also participate as well.)

Treasure! Prizes! Booty!

All ONE PIECE PUZZLE HUNT players will receive a limited edition nine-card ONE PIECE set along with a special Japanese style foldable fan.

Additionally, the first 5,000 guests who start the game will be entered into a raffle where they are guarenteed to win a ONE PIECE figure, hand towel, or other prizes.
