Any horror manga fans out there? In the winding backstreets of Harajuku, gallery space ACG_Labo held the Junji Itō Collection Exhibit from January 19 to February 2, 2018. The exhibit ran in conjunction with Studio Deen’s Junji Itō: Collection anime series that began broadcasting on January 5, 2018. This anime adapts stories from Itō Junji Kessaku-shū (Junji Itō Masterpiece Collection) series and the Fragments of Horror. The series is 12 episodes long and has two OVAs based on Tomie planned. Thanks to our friends at ACG_Labo, Manga Planet had the opportunity to take photos for all our fans! To commemorate the release of the anime’s Blu-ray and DVD, the Yurakucho Marui is holding the first Land of the Lustrous exhibition from January 19, 2018 to February 25, 2018. Giving fans a better understanding of Land of the Lustrous’s world, the exhibit features a retrospective of the anime’s 12 episodes, photo spots, showcases of the real gems of the characters, and planning material for the animation staff. From Boys Love to Young Men Yoneda Kou, the gritty and erotic mangaka behind Twittering Birds Never Fly and NightS, has jumped into seinen manga with her new series, Op: Yoake Itaru no Iro no Nai Hibi. The title of her manga translates as Op: The Colourless Days of Yoake Itaru and follows the story of Yoake Itaru, a divorced investigator for an insurance company who solves cases other tend to avoid. Shosen bookstore is holding fair to celebrate the release of Yoneda Kou’s first seinen manga series. Fans can see copies of pages from manga along with an exclusive color illustration they could win after purchasing the manga’s first volume.
